i thought your metering could have been better. too much hotspots. other than that, what were you trying to relay to the audience?

hope i dun sound too offensive :)
just how i felt about the fotos.

For a moment, i thought it was a Rock Band! :bsmilie:

yeah....initially they had me fooled too, these funky construction workers!

HI zaren

Not bad at all, i like them.

Pic 1. My attention is drawn to the 3 central characters, the indian man on the cellphone, the lady reaching into her bag and the chinese man looking at you.

Pic 2. Kind of humorous..its almost as if the mature chinese man is holding the hands of the caucasian lady :p Plus the added element of the advertisement poster featuring a HK celebrity adds interest. :bsmilie:

Pic 3. Classic humanistic group portrait. Indians and Bangladeshis always seem to make good photo subjects ( they usually dont shy away from the camera)

yep, agree about the hotspots. was trying to increase the contrast in the pics which were converted to b&w from a color digital image.

i am trying to relay "street scenes" to the audience.

nope, you dun sound offensive..and thx for the comments!

Hi Dios Vincoy Jr,

Thanks for your comments...

in pic 1, the focal figure for me seems to be the chinese guy glaring at me, he is the only one in the crowd who is aware of my intrusion into their busy world.

in pic 2, the woman in the middle seems to be the subject of unwanted male attention, especially the guy on the right. as you rightly pointed out, he seems to be holding her hand, and breathing out the smoke from her cigarette.

in pic 3, i asked these gentlemen if they minded posing in front of the camera because i liked them in those positions, each of them framed in a different way by the background. they were very friendly and expressed much interest in their photo and my camera.
