I was just at Funan today for lunch and guess what I saw? SLR-R has been renamed Bally! It's the one opposite John 3:16 right?

The fox has finally shown it's tail!

If im not wrong, Bally is a shareholder in SLRR, or vice-versa.

SLR-R had been located to nearby escalator to the Foodcourt. And Bally took over the it's former store space.

It dosent matter who owns or have a share in SLRR. If they are able to provide me with a decent price, i will continue to support them

I bought the Nikkor 35mm f1.8 fr Bally today cos SLRR n TK foto no stock. Bally quoted me $329 cash so I went for it. They didn't try to cheat me though they did ask me if i wanted to buy a filter which i turned down promptly. whether u r in CS r not doesn't matter, more impt must know ur stuff and the market price.

I believe that was the old shop of SLR-R, but i understand from my peers that SLR-R have ties with Bally.

So long the shop quote me with a good product at a price that is acceptable, and provide good customer service. I don't see any issue with going to any shops at all. But personally, i've a few shops that i frequent, as i know the sales rep personally, easier to communicate.

I went into Bally to ask for quotes too, to see what kind of price they tell me. They give me a reasonable price, not the lowest but somewhat near J3:16 price. If they think that you know what you are doing, they won't quote you a ridiculous pricing.

oh i got it from the newer one at Lvl 5.

actually i was quite suprised that they quoted me a good price. the whole process was painless and smooth. got the quote, verified mode of payment, warranty, agree, check lens, paid n left.

I still find it quite unbelievable fr posts fr people who were carrot like paying $400 plus for a Hoya UV filter, or paying $1600 for a $600 lens... I mean it's seriously ridiculous the prices being quoted.
