Hi, I am looking for so clarification,

...am using a D70 with a SB600.

read Thom Hogans book and he sez that slow sync flash is available on the D70 in Manual exposure mode. This is not the case for my D70!? (Only front and rear are available, no red-eye and slow)

Also i tot that TTL-BL is NOT available on Manual exposure also, is this correct? Asking cos for my set-up, I can set to TTL-BL even when I am on Manual exposure thereby contradicting what I read from Thom Hogan.

Anyone can clarify and advise or point to relevant threads?

Thanks

Thansk a lot.

nope. slow sync is not the same as rear flash. rear sync just means that the flash fires at the end of the exposure.

slow sync means that flash is fired with a slow shutter speed. it might be front or back.

Does TTL-BL refers to the flash control system? If it is, it's nothing unusual.
