Elite Chrome Extra Colour 100 is S$7?

In UK by mail order ECEC 100 s 1.85GBP per roll, or occasionally free with Photography magazine :) Provia 100F is 3.45GBP, so closer to SG prices.

According to the comparsion of the negative films, seems like Kodak Max 400 is not that bad, it has the highest resolution amongst the 400 films and it's other factors are not second to other 400 films according to the chart. Is Max 400 that bad as described by many ClubSNAPers??

Megaweb, I bought
Kodak Portra 160VC at CP for $28.50 for 5. $6.00 at Ruby.
Kodak Gold GB 200/36 at CP for $13.00 for 4.
Kodak Max GC 400/36 at CP for $13.50 for 4.
Fujifilm NPH 400/36 at CP for $6.60.
Fujifilm Superia CU 1600/36 at CP for $7.30.

Kodak Tri-X Pan 400/36 at CP for $5.50.

Always take Popular Photography/Practical Photography reviews with lots of salt.

An article in PopPhoto mentions that slides can hold 8 stops of brightness......
