slider test with my 60d and tamron 28-75

hi bro,

i have the kamerar also, but haven't tried it ... did you notice whether the "shake" is at the start/stop only or happens throughout each scene?

what if you extended the start/stop a bit and then cut it out ... will it be better?

also, did you evaluate whether it was smoother with the wheels move or the slider move?

some of the moves look a little bit too fast (for the eyes to register properly)

Pretty good.

I like 01:03 and 01:28.

Sharing my mistakes, for your video, it is pretty safe. It is just a testing video. If you are using sliding shots for your art work, you need to try to use it as more revealing approach. You had that in your video. I would say, you had it in you. Need a lot of practise.

I did my own sliding video test with cinetics some time back when I first started my learning journey. Received quite number of feedbacks on how I can improve from fellow forumers. You can have a look at feedbacks over here >>> Dragon Naga <<<

hey bro...thanks for ur comments ......yes i noticed shake in d video but i think it because my lens (tamron 28-75) doesnt have ic or may b i m jst starting so need much more practice...
i have used full 60 mm so dont know how to extend it more....but yes wheels are more smooth then d actual slider....if d surface is smooth...
and i agree with u....need to slowdown a bit too make it register..........
i liked ur videos with time lapse .....may b i will also try it in near future.....

thanks again for taking out ur time n checking my video..

ydetroja>>> Sure no problem. If you have any video project and you need help or assistance, I would love to be a part of it, provided it does not clash with my schedule. I was thinking of horror short film. :)

hi everyone..this is my first post here..
recently i shot few clips on weekend with with my 60d and slider....suggestion and comments are welcome...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FVWIKuKK2lA&feature=youtu.be

Where did you find the rotating slider ?

I thought slider moves in straight line but your video looks like it moves in a circle, how did you achieve that ?

Thanks

RyanKhoo>>> Alternatively, you can do panning while sliding. It does give similar effect.

I was thinking of that too but the panning will be in manually done ?

Also have limitation because if pan too much may take a video of the slider itself ... Hahaha

Cheers
