In a day where everything went seeming against the Singaporeans shuttlers, the girl's doubles under 15 pairing of Liang Xiaoyu and Liang Yun left it late till the final game on court two to salvage some Singaporean pride as they took home the gold.

Further misfortune came upon the our Shuttlers in the all Singaporean Boy's Under 19 Singles Finals between Huang Chao and Andrianus Adi Prosojo. After going down 15-21 to Huang Chao in the first set, Andrianus Adi Prosojo collapsed to the ground in pain during the second set. Despite his pain, Andrianus Adi Prosojo graciously decided to play on and could not do much as Huang Chao wrapped up the second set 21-14 to take the Boy's Under 19 Singles title.

19.12.2010 : LIANG Yun of Singapore in action during their match against Pacharapun CHOCHUWONG and Puttita SUPAJIRAKUL of Thailand in the Girl's Doubles Under 15 Finals of the Li-Ning Singapore Youth International 2010, held at the Yio Chu Kang Sports Hall.

With a gold under Singapore's belt, the Girl's Under 15 Doubles pairing of Liang Xiaoyu and Liang Yun aimmed to go one better. Standing in their way was the Thai pair of Pacharapun Chochuwong and Puttita Supajirakul. Despite an extremly tight match with both side refusing to back down, the match went in favour of the Singaporean duo as they edged out the Thais by the narrowest of margins, 21-19, 22-20 to add two golds to Singapore's tally.

Nice take... Which body u using?

Hi! Thks for sharing. Was there last sat to try and do some snaps but hesitated cos 3 courts were in play and there were like not much space to snap and will be too obvious to do so. Moreover i find the lights a little dim for my liking. Seems like you have done a good job with the WB ! Are you one of their OP ?

Hi dev2k8, its acutally quite okay as that is how badminton is photographed, even at the highest level. As long you are behind the A-board and limit your movement when play is going on you should be fine. These type of lower-level competitions are actually quite good as it offers photographers easy access to good courtside positions, so try to minimise your presence and don't be hesitant to shoot! ;)
