Singapore Film Photographers - a time for the rest to unite?

i am a newcomer to film photography, having started my first roll about 6 months back but boy, have i fallen in love so badly!

i notice that in singapore, there is no group or association for shooters still using film, and even in clubsnap, many of them are scattered by the genre of camera used..

no matter whether we are shooting RF, MF, LF or SLR or even Lomo/Compacts, film is our love!

i propose establishing a group (either FB/Brick&Motar/whatsapp) to connect the passionate local film shooters... and this has the following functions:

- support group, allows us to whine/predict the future/present, esp in the recent announcement of Kodak Alaris
- bulk purchase, allows us to buy film in bulk
- development, allows us to find alternative sources of film development

This is a good idea.... Since Singapore doesn't have a film group.... I am also just starting film photography and in need to tips.

maybe organise some outing to get people together might be a good idea.
