Sigma 30mm F1.4

Make sure you choose a specific point then u can see if the lens focus on the right point or not, don’t use auto AF point.

Also, use spot AF point since you are shooting something so small. (The AF points mode with each AF point has a smaller box inside)

Yup 45 deg

Something like this ?? I did 2 quick shot...lighting not so good...but it seems that the focus right on the [RGB] Display line.....

actually it seems a bit back focus but overall it good! good copy u have! :)

Don't really know how to shoot it properly... I think the paper isn't really flat out when I place it onthe chair. No idea how many % crop I did posting either. All ah ga ah ga nia , the 45 degree also estimation only

Haha, big time noob :)

i have a copy of this lens... (nikon mount)

this is one of the lens that i find it hard to part with...
sharp, light, focus length is just nice for social gatherings...

at F4... this lens is at it sharpest... (personal opinon)

I also just bought a Pentax mount Sigma 30mm F1.4 recently and I can say that this lens is superb. Focusing is pinpoint and fast. IQ is high. And best of all, 30mm allows me to use it for both landscape shots or potraits shots.

this lens is for crop body only. it ard 48mm as compare to FF body. landscape with this range is a bit tight.

but this lens is really a gem for protrait. i have 50mm instead, at F2, it is already sharp enuff for protrait :)
