Sigma 24-70 f2.8 VS Tokina 28-80 f2.8

Hi everyone... Im actually in a dilemma in buying between these two lenses. Anyone has used it before and compare them side by side? How do u think they perform optically? From reviews that i read, seems that Tokina is more superior.. Is it true? Please comment... Thanks in advance..

i think you should get the tamron 28-75 instead. small, light, sharp. i think it's superior to both the tokina and sigma. the tokina 28-80 is one heavy monster and the sigma uses a 82mm filter. the sigma 24-60mm however, is good. used it to shoot slides before and it was sharp at f/2.8.
