Shocked n Happy

Hi All,

I bought a sanddisk's CF card(1 GB extreme III) from CP last week, din bother to chk the pack and was kept busy whole week. Yesterday , when I opened the pack, I saw a empty Plastic case!!! :dunno: I was surprised that I bought a empty paper box for 80$! regretted for not cheking the pack when I bought. probably the trust I had on CP made me to take things easily...

Called up Cathay, and when enquired, they asked me to drop in with the box and receipt which I did! They were so good at me, and advised me to check the pack before I leave the shop,whenever I buy and report it back within a day!

Now this rises a question in me! Is this a regular stuff happening that they get Empty boxes from the agent who sells Memory cards to CP? any experience?

Whatever it is, hats off to CP and PLEASE, all buyers!!! CHECK YOU PRODUCT BEFORE LEAVING THE SHOP!!!

I thought you would have learnt your lesson from your previous thread. How can hte card be missing. You could see it clearly from the outside if the card is there or not.

Extreme III boxes do not have a transparent window on the outside, so you cant see if there is a card unless you open it.

It'z all the trust you have with the shop!! have you ever tried to chk the quality of the food in your usual makkan place? same goes here!! Lesson learnt but!
