servicing lens???

hello bro, where can i service my lens? and how much is the price of lubricating?

If it's KM or minolta lens, Sony service centre at Wisma Atria.

my minolta lens cant focus...i later found out the focusing mechanism was jammed that why my camera has no power to drive the mechanism to move...i personally use a screw driver to rotate the SCREW of the lens which connect with camera motor...but it was very hard to rotate it...i try on my other lens and it is very very smooth....anyway is the lens gone? quite worried...any encountered of such problem...oh yes i only bought month ago and i did not use it only on my ROM day:sweat: ....wah hahaha... guess what? i brought along my kit lens 28-80mm 'D'...but me just using dynax9

Sent once for repair a stuck zoom 28-135 (Old old lens). The service code indicate "Refitting". Total cost $10.50 and 14 days turn around time.

bro i think ur case is the zoom mechanism got stuck...mine is focusing...hai sian leh...cant use for time being...reali thanks for the info...me still thinking how it got stuck....hmmm:think:

No, not the authorised 1.
Private shop- they are expert in all kind/ brand of lenses.
Price reasonable and trustable.
The Service centre is as what smtan24 stated- Sony Service Centre.

Makes you appreciate living in a small country like Singapore. If I stayed at Johor, I would have to send my equipment to the authorised centre all the way to Selangor.

Sure you can bring the camera to Sony for check up, but they probably will ask what problem do you have with the camera so the technician can fix it. Not sure they can/will help you to check the camera got any problem (if you just want to know the camera still functioning well or not ), or you can request for cleaning the camera.
