u could actually find a whole lot of Sb-800 at The Camera Workshop, but the price of it u could add 50 bucks or more for a SB-900 instead

The SB600 is a good start. You can upgrade to the SB900 later on when you are used to using flash. (Skip the SB400, it's not worth the money. Pay slightly more for the SB600.)
