Hi everyone,

It's my first attempt at making a travel short, and hope you guys can take a look and tell me what you think!

Thanks everyone, and have a great weekend! :D

Looks like loads of fun. Well done!

nice work, krabi's a great place ... i'm surprised there's not much snorkeling or feature on the beautiful beaches there (or are these in part 2?) =D

thanks so much for watching pettypoh! :D oh yes, regarding that... we really wanted to try island hopping, snorkelling and even cliff diving! unforturnately, we were there during the wet season and it was raining quite abit! the local guides discouraged us on most of the water activites due to the choppy waters! :(

OH WELL, there's always a next time i guess! ;)

oh, that's disappointing, the island hopping is loads of fun, especially when going in big group, can become a whole day outing (lots of photo ops), worthwhile to try it out on your next trip

thanks =D

btw, for the style you were going for. here's a few suggestions that you may wish to think about (big disclaimer > i not good with video, so recommendations just based on what i've seen/learned from others)

#1 - gimbal stabiliser for the gopro (i think called pilotfly or z1 or something)
#2 - add in a few more "speed ramps" (fast/slow motion) > especially where there's close-ups or actions
#3 - colours > a bit more vibrant and "contrasty" >> not sure how also

thanks =D

thanks for the tips pettypoh! :D i have to say, i'm absolutely amateur at video too, so i'm learning too!

ohyes, i've seen a few of those gimbal stabilisers around! but they burn a hole in my wallet (HAHA!), so i'm considering holding them off for the time being!

i'll definitely take note of the "speed ramps"! i've seen some nice ones in your time lapse video! i was originally going for a film/fade feel in the video, but i guess you preferred more colour! ;) i'll be sure to take that into the consideration for the mood next time too! :D

I think for a first attempt, its freaking great! love the swift cuts and how you used the zoom effect for transitions. keep making more man!
