Saturation and lenses

I'm not sure if it's my imagination but pictures taken with my VG 21mm Skopar show a notably more saturated colours compared to Leica 24mm Summilux. So I'm wondering if there are actually some lenses that give more saturated colours than others and how so.

And yeah, it's not film. To be specific, I'm using M8.2

Theoretically, yes. Lens coating plays a part in colour saturation, to my very limited knowledge.

Different coating formulae affects the intensities of the different wavelength of light going through the lens, so yeah. A question is how much it does affect though, but these are trade secrets.
