I happened to see this review of the 85mm Samyang lens from a Polish website. After reading it, not so enthusiastic about Samyang lah -- there's a reason for the low price -- overall sharpness is so-so
i'm actually quite amused by this comment abt the 85/1.4
"To sum up, it seems that the makers of the Samyang focused on producing a lens that gives a fully usable image at maximum aperture. But in order to do so, they sacrificed the high resolution at an aperture range of f/4.0-8.0, as well as taking less care of image resolution at the edge of the frame."
seems counter-intuitive... oh well, for a sub-1k lens.. wth.
1) is with the manual aperture ring or electronic aperture control?
2) is there AF confirmation and EXIF transmitted to camera?
3) is there a rear gelatine filter mount and the dimension of it?
