A question. I have a S2 Pro and recently bought a Nikon SB600 flash. Looking at the S2's great compability with the older SB flashes, is the SB600 too much flash/technology for the ageing S2 Pro? If yes, then maybe I should downgrade. If no, what advantages do I get from using the SB600? Thanks.

May I ride on this topic?

I'm interested in pairing a S3 pro with a light flash for travelling... SB600 is very bulky. The SB400 seemed like a good choice, but it seems like it's a fully auto flash that is not compatible. Are there any good and small third party flashes for the S3 pro?

confirm sb400 won't work becos it will only work on iTTL-capable cameras only.

there are not many good small flashes ard, unfortunately... :(

think there's this SB22, light, small and easy to carry around.

S2 and S3Pro should work well with it.
