considering this... unless canon comes out with a 1.6x lens...

main use is to shoot places and people.. places can be any kind... greens and urbs... lol basically generic scenery...

hmmmm you think so? i know there are some lens compatibility issues with S1/S2 pro but if the FLM and mount is the same, i don't think the newer lenses will have much problems with Fuji cams.

Tot the S1Pro limitations are due to the inherent limitations of its N65 base? The S2Pro should be functionally similar to the D100 with their common N80 lineage.
I think they just conveniently excluded non nikon bodies from the list.
