Found a solution to the lens hood using a pentax hood!

No vignetting with this hood.

very nice hood solution. the FE 35 2.8 hood should fit nicely on the RX1 too.

Unfortunately it does not which is a damn shame. That was the most obvious thing which is the first thing I tried. So guys, dun go and get the 35 2.8 hood and try to fit that on.

Wa y so weird. The rx1 hood works on the fe 35 w.8 but other way round doesn't
