RFSG Monthly Outings – March 2012

[Royale With Cheese]

What are we doing?
RFSG will be heading to Chek Jawa, Pulau Ubin for the March 2012 outing.
We will be meeting at 0930hours at Changi Ferry Terminal. Please do feel free to come earlier to have breakfast at the coffee shops at Changi Village.

Upon crossing to Ubin, we will be renting bicycles over there to head to Chek Jawa. At moderate pace, it should take us 30-45mins to get to Chek Jawa.
The reason for the early ride would be to catch the low tide, which is happening at 1000 – 1200 hours, which is great for landscape.

After finishing up with Chek Jawa, if the participants are still alive, we would explore the other parts of the island.
We can make it back to mainland by 5pm, head out to Changi boardwalk where the sunset will be happening.

Things to take note:
- Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate, the number one rule
- A portable tripod, ND filters & cable release for landscape shooting
- Sunblock
- Water
- Light, airy, comfortable clothing & reliable shoes
- Cash. I believe the trip to Ubin could cost $2.50. Bicycle rental, $15-$20
