Folks,

We have an artist in our midst. Our fellow RF Cser, Derrick Choo (Nick = Derrick) has PM me about an exhibition he will be doing in October.

Date: 19 to 31 Oct 2010 at the Arts House

He will be presenting his exhibition on Japan shot with his M8, M9 and X1. A great opportunity for us to gather there to enjoy the exhibits and then proceed on for our usual shootout.

Here's his blog:

I propse we fix out Oct official outing on 23 Oct 2010.

Any objection?

Derrick is a great photographer and person, got his calender :p

Support him!

Hope to be able to meet up and get to know more of you guys here. Help to spur me to be more active in this forum. ;p

I'm not too gear orientated and have had a love and hate relationship with Leica cameras over the past 9+ years since i started photography using Leica cameras. The leica cameras are a great tool to learn photography with, especially their film cameras. I actually never used or touched an SLR till sometime last year when work dictated the need for them and I bought a DSLR system. For my personal work I still stick more or less to my one camera, one lens philosophy where less is more and it works well for me.

I'll post more information about when i'll be onsite at the exhibition venue closer to the time and anyone can drop by for coffee and a chat.

ON ARH! :bsmilie:

but i will be on cruise from 17 oct for 4 days ):
