RF.SG November Monthly Mini - "Nine"

November is derived from the Latin word "novem" meaning "nine". As such, RF.SG's theme for November 2011 is "Nine".
For your kind interpretations please.

Please post top 3 photos that you feel have captured that moment. Please ENSURE you include a TITLE for your submission and either write a short summary of why your pics suited the theme stated or simply let the photos do the talking for you.

Rules are very simple:

1. Competition period: 1st November 2011 thru 30th November 2011
2. Please submit 3 of your best shots with a short explanatory into your submission by 30th November 2011
3. All entries will be judged American Idol style by your fellow members
4. Judging period will be from 1st December 2011 to 8th December 2011
5. Top 3 entries will be posted by 9th December 2011: winner has bragging rights for the rest of the month and be submitted to the Hall of Fame thread, plus RF.SG's pin-up badge & Keyring ñ Winners, please come for our outings to collect your prize!

1. Nine Siblings

Shot taken at Bayon Temple Monastery, Cambodia. These kids live in the area and they are so close to one another. Just simple village kids. And they didn't even sell anything, knowing how Cambodia is.

1. Nine Eleven.
View of the New York financial district shows the World Trade Center site, ten years later. Pic taken from the highest point (102th level) of the Empire State building. You can see the Statue of Liberty sitting in the right hand side below the helicopter.

2. Nine Years.
The Statue of Liberty (La Liberté éclairant le monde) is one of the most famous American icon. It was constructed in Paris and it took nine years before it was completed in 1884 after which it was sent to the USA in 214 crates. Shot from the Ferry across the sea.

3. Nine men on a girder.
One night while walking around Times Square, I was drawn to this interesting sculpture sitting at the back of a van. The human beings were real sized in proportion...Just for those who do not know, this piece of work was inspired from the famous black and white photo of several men having lunch atop a skyscraper in 1932, during the contruction of the Rockefeller centre in New York.
