It looks to me like you just took those photos on a lousy day, overcast sky, wrong timing, etc. I doubt there's any problems with the camera/film/exposure.

Try again when the weather's nicer or earlier/later in the day.

It was an outing with colleagues to celebrate their promotions. The table was a bit too cramp as I was seated in a location that make it difficult for me the move around. Thus, I set the focus, aperture and use a slow shutter speed on the camera and asked them to take a mug shot of themselves by passing my expensive and 'old school' film camera around. still worrying while watching the way each and individual handle my camera... scary...
