Hi guys,

Seldom do any reviews but anyway here it goes and hope it helps those who are thinking of getting it.

The Photographyandcinema's ATP Anti Twist Plate for Manfrotto 501 quick release is a wish list for alot of cinematographers using Manfrottos BHDV monopods and 701-501 heads ...

It comes with 2 plates, one for bigger dslr and another one for NEX type of cameras (or so they say)

I personally have problems with the original manfrotto quick release plate slightly twisting after a long day shoot and when i need to mount a quick shoot on my steadicam, the problem comes where its not 'quick' anymore cause i need to adjust the plate OR the steadicam .... So this is a life saver "If it works well"

Here, i've it on my 5d3 with 24/70
Its fits quite well and i'm sure they actually designed this based on the 5D series due to the user base ... After locking, I cannot use my bare hands to twist it ... I'll update here after a real world situation.

The cool thing about this that I was expecting the 2nd smaller plate to work on my Gh3 and it does ... So basically, i've saved USD$25 on another plate.
A little 'long at the rear' but i can live with it ... cause the gh3 was the main one that twisted more often during shoots ...

Overall, its awesome ... Finally a solution for twisting ... A piece of mind and one less thing to check for every shoot ...

The price is USD$25 (I got a $5 discount with as their subscriber) ... The shipping is USD$15 (Fking hell) and it a damn worth it cause it reached me in ONE DAY ... amazing speed from DHL ...
