i am currently doing up the CCA budget in my school for 2014. i am looking to get an instructor to conduct a 1-2 session hands-on/guided class on creating a personal Photostory/Photojournalism project. the course is tentatively scheduled to be conducted on a Wed afternoon, from 3pm to ard 5pm in Mar or Apr 2014. the class size is ard 20 JC2 students.
the selected instructor should plan for actual photoshoots. you can conduct it either within the school compound or venture out into the neighbourhood. my kids prefer less theory and more practice. so please factor this into the lesson plan. the end product is that they should be able to create their own personal portfolio after the sessions which can be used for university admission to courses like ADM in NTU.
right now, i am looking for people to submit quotes and a rough outline of your lesson so that i can plan for it in the budget. if the budget is approved (shd be end-nov 2013), i should be able to look for suitable instructors to do this. if you are familiar with the govt's GeBiz system, i am trying to opt for a direct appointment of instructor, if you can keep it within the costing guidelines. if you have the necessary experience in conducting such a course (i do prefer photographers with actual working experience in this area... and trust me, my kids are quite vocal in making their displeasure known if the instructors are trying to BS them...), pls contact me via PM with your name, contact, quote and your online portfolio. if i find your experience suitable, i will further contact you via email. tentatively, i am looking at ard $1k as a budget (negotiable).
