Reputable online camera shops in U.S

Hi, has anyone here ever purchased your camera and accessories from online shops in U.S? Please share your experiences and include the websites url here.

I am actually keen to purchase a Canon 70-200mm F4/L from the US. Is anyone else interested? We might be able to get a good discount with bulk purchase. Since all Canon lenses carry International warranty, I suppose the only issue now is to find a reputable and reliable online shop in US.

Is it worth it? I mean, I think Oracle selling that lens at S$1700 here (with warranty I think), so unless ordering online from US is going to be substantially cheaper (and I doubt so with GST, shipping costs, lousy exchange rate on credit cards, etc.), I would seriously look at that option if I were you.

p.s. I'm not connected to Oracle in any way...

Yeah, I think Oracle is doing a great service to the community. Anyway, I'm just trying to 'research' on US prices myself - treat it as my purchase guide, lol.

Bought from both Adorama and bhphoto. Both had hiccups, but overall ok. I did some research as well, not all that worth it compared to Oracle's prices. Remember to include GST.

check out at www.bhphotovideo.com the site comes with the shipping calculator & condition (delivery time etc) to Singapore.. or any other countries. There will be a GST (local singapore) charge for items purchase from outside singapore above SGD600 (if i'm not mistaken)

In my case, the gst was paid by UPS 1st. Then i paid them when they delivered.
