I need to print an A1 size collage, and within a day's time.
Is there any recommended place?

TIA!

There's a place in Funan, i think called Pic n Pixel, 04-13.

The last time i asked, A1 was $18 for matte and $22 for glossy. They print on some large format epsons. They accept jpeg n tiffs; i was told to scale my file to about 30mb.

Disclaimer: i'm not related to them, and i've never tried printing there before. Just jotted down the address bcoz i thot i might give them a try sometime.

Thanxs.

Anymore people with first hand experience, what res is needed btw?
They are charging quite cheaply compared to those in penisular plaza.

try poster connection at peace centre....nafa, sp and nus students often print them for their art-related stuffs. dun sure abt the prices. but the printer they uses is the kodak printer. dpi for a1 is 150dpi or you can use a3 size at 300dpi.

Hey thanxs.
Just got my printout from poster connection.
Gd turnaround time, with good quality, but my design sucks.. :bheart:
Does'nt look good when printed out..

$15 bucks anyway for the printout.

may i know at what res did u sent and how's the outcome?

Depending on luck, poster connection print outs can be stunning or can suck like hell. Printed many times and either the colour came out mismatched (because they dun bother with proofing) or they limit the res to increase turnover time.
Never printing there again because they simply ain't professional.. their boss can give you attitude problems (esp to students like us)

National photo engravers on the other hand, has the finest prints I've seen in my entire 3 years at NAFA. They really calibrate their prints to ur proof and colour manage everything very well. They are located somewhere before lavender. Near boon keng MRT station.
