Does anyone have a favourite frame shop that you go to for framing. Not looking for Ikea or other ready-made frames. The local shop I checked with wants $50 for an 8x10 :o

Thanks,
-steve

I also do framing.why never cal me........
Lawrence.8by 10 is about 20bucks........... :D

I do my framing at bukit merah, shop is beside the DBS bank. This shop charges about $25-28 for framing, mounting, and glass. All to your size. But depending on the kind of frames you want. Friendly and helpful service too.

hi suaku question,

Is there a difference between framing + mounting and simply buying a frame and inserting the photo yourself?

maybe he prefer better design on the frame... clolor also..??

Try Framatic (next to Burger King in Holland Village) - they have always seemed very reasonable to me. The shop also doubles as a Reflexology place so you can get a foot rub at same time :)

There is a place along Still Road , I think between Joo Chiat Place and Joo Chiat Terrace which I hear does good work and are used by many pros.

Checked out the shop today. Agree with medaman about service and price.
Mr Tan is a very nice guy and price is cheap compared to others that I've checked out.

I would advise against going to the framing shop in Clementi. :thumbsd: :thumbsd:
This shop is located near the McDonald's along a row of shops which has a coffeeshop next to the McDonald and another coffeeshop next to the NTUC. It is facing the MRT tracks.

Attitude sucks big time and not cheap either !!!
Kept asking me to bring down my photos and declared that no use talking if I did not bring down my stuff. , even when I told her the dimensions of the photo. :dunno:

My friend had advised me against going to that shop before due to attitude problem, but I did not listen to him. Finally found out the truth today!

I believe he does.

The one that my friend ordered measures something like 50" x 16".
(size of the frame)
