recommendation for portrait lens

Hi, bro, there r a few versions of Tamron 90 F2.8, right? u got a brand new or used? May I know how much u spend? this one should be cheaper than sony 100 2.8, right?

There are 3 tamron 90mm, 2 of which is discontinued, the current one is called "Tamron SP AF 90 F2.8 Di"
it is around 400+ 2nd hand and 500-600+ first hand

it is cheaper than sony 100 2.8. If you are on a tight budget, you can buy it as it can be used for portraits and macro.

i am using the Tamron 90mm F2.8 version 2 the non Di version. got it used less than RM 1,000, the lens was pretty new, only used for few months before the seller switch camp

hi brothers, if budgets tight it is advisable to look into the new tamron marco 90mm,it is value for money less than $550 up from your budgets a little bit only and can have a peace of mind plus warranty.

I am currently using minolta's 24-105mm F3.5-4.5 lens. It is pretty awesome both as a travel lens and as a portrait lens. For those going serious into protrait shoots, my preference would to to invest in a good prime lens.

The 70-200/2.8 G is even better in this regard :sweat:
