Recommendation for lens and flash

I have the fortune to buy a very mint Bessa R3A from the King of Gaffar. I am now looking for a lens .... how does the CV 40 1.4 Nokton compare with the CV 50 1.5 ASP Nokton. What type of flash can i use on the R3A?

any single pin flash will do as long as its relatively new. I use one of those electro ones from ruby, i think its about $23 a piece. BATA (buy and throw away). if you have the money for a new 50mm/40mm, why not consider the old leica sumicron C 40mm for the CL/CLE?
