Got myself a 580EX flash recently and I realized to myself I can't keep using Alkalines.
The $$$ for the batteries doesn't regenerate as fast as the flash.

Going for rechargeable batteries, have these three brands for batteries and charger in mind.

1. Sony
2. Sanyo
3. Powerex

My budget <$80 for charger + 4 AAs.
Any specific batteries / charger recommendation among the three?
I know nuts about the refresh function, cool charging etc.. Maybe can enlighten me on this as well.

Powerex

powerex 2700 1st choice
sanyo eneloop 2nd choice, skip the sanyo 2500 altogether. :)

Powerex

Is the Maha MH-C401FS a good charger?
Heard Powerex are good batteries but Maha makes lousy low-mid range chargers. Is this true?

go for Powerex
