Sorry... Another noob question, is installing the latest Adobe DNG converter the only way to open any raw files from new cameras/lenses in Photoshop or Lightroom? Are we no longer downloading any camera raw updates?

this is new topic, you should post a new thread for that, anyway, a quick reply


short answer: yes,

older version of photoshop and lightroom can not support raw files from newer models of camera.
new camera raw updates only available for current version of software.
