RAW vs JPEG

Any kind souls can advise me on this

I shoot raw+jpg. Aspect ratio I put 3:2. I use DXO7optics the jpg is 3:2 but my raw is still 4:3 but I RTFM it states that the 3:2 is there for those that are using LR or Oly Image Viewer. Anyone encounter this? So how to get the 3:2 from DXO7optics easily?

Shoot RAW and jpeg together. Display them both side by side on Lightroom. Then u will see wat i mean by Oly colours. 95% of the time, u will not use the RAW bec the jpegs look so good. Of cuz if u never see before, and u thk raws are good enuff, then you better not see. Once u see, u will b very confounded.

I also have this problem - the RAW converted of CS and LR cannot restore back the lovely Oly colour.
To solve this problem if i shoot RAW, i will use Oly's RAW converter (come together with the cam) to open the RAW file. All Oly colours will be preserved. I then adjust the exposure (to save clipped highlight, etc) before converting it to 16-bit tiff. I then edit the tiff file in CS.
It's a headache though that the Olympus viewer software do not have the very useful shadow/highlight recovery function unlike CS. It only has an exposure slider. Correct me if i am wrong :P
