WOW!!! I really like the "Back" shot! I dont know how to describe the feeling but it just feels very very good! Got a "slient hill" feeling also. How do you create such a shot? Mind sharing some tips?

hi hopes, thanks for dropping by! this "back" shot was taken during the very first IR outing i joined... i was using an ELP IR modified D70 back then, i took a Preset custom white balance by shooting my hand under the sun.

as always, am shooting on aperture priority mode at 5.6, using my ever IR-dependable 18-105 vr lens, iso is at 200, matrix metering.

Thanks Wurdelak! Thanks for sharing! Maybe I should really consider having a modded cam for IR since such shots are quite difficult for an un-modded D90, or at least difficult for me since I am still learning the art.

my advice is to use ir filters first, and once you are decided to dive deep into ir photography, that's the time to have a modified camera dedicated to IR shots.

keep shooting!

start with IR screw on filters first. have a feel for the processing and masking required in the process. if u jump in to mod a body, last time i checked from camera hospital its like 450. not too sure if it was accurate:think:

u can find fatigue for better prices. but i'll rather use a citiwide and shoot first, which i did:)
