I was doing some research online and came across this quick draw.

I know RFs are fast, but I surely didn't expect such a shot! awesome man... have a look

Awesome shot for sure, but the hand were there as the reference point, so not really that fast. :) And besides when you are using an RF, you have a good view of the scene. If shot with Digital Ms, he can shoot a few frames at once.

How many frames can a M9 do / sec at 1/2000 ? I have seen birders flood their camera cache do nail such a shot...
Probably pre-focus and multiple feeding eh...?

Not sure, haven't checked it out, but certainly would not be as good as a DSLR.
 

M9 Shutter speed
• In aperture priority mode steplessly adjustable from 32 to 1/4000 sec
• Manually selectable from 4 to 1/4000 sec in 1/2 EV steps
 

pre focus and wait for the moment..

set the shutter speed and put camera in auto iso.

I am sure any slr or camera can shoot this as long can set shutter speed
