Hi everyone, just had a question regarding film and airport x-ray machines. I was wondering if anyone knows or has a list on which countries are film safe and which not. I just came back a week ago from India, and although all my film came out ok despite having had to pass through numerous machines. I can't help but shake the stress I had on the couple of days it had to pass through one.
It's even made me rethink my looming MP purchase in favour of the M9.
Have any of you encountered non-film safe machines anywhere? If so, which country?
And what are the precautions to take? Some say clear ziplock bag for hand inspection, some say lead bag, some say to put rolls on your person, while others say to buy film at the location and have it processed there.
