You will have to pay tax.

Just for info, for any camera or accessories that cost above S$400/- will be subjected to tax. How I know cause I recently pay the tax (the custom office is at PayaLebar Singpost) when I got mine A1 and S5200 shipped from Japan.

Their advice is, to make things easier and faster for collection.

Is to ask the seller to paste the invoice (proof of purchase) on the parcel. So they can send you a receipt right away. If not it will be retain by them and by the time you receive the notice, it will be 2-4 days already.

If you want to find out more, call up ICA and they will give you the direct number. I deleted the office numbers already so not able to pass it to you.

Hope it helps

The fastest and easiest way is actually send vis www.vpostusa.com.
ask your sellers to send all the items there, and they will consolidate all the items and send at one go, and you will pay all your taxes before the items it sent from vpostusa.
save you the hassles of going down to Singapore Post Centre and pay your taxes.

ICA Helpdesk number... 1800 355 2000

Does Singpost pay the GST on your behalf first ? I tot onlt courier companies does that and collect from you when they deliver the package to you ?
