Anyone tried printing B/W from your COLOR negatives? What's the result compare to B/W negatives? Is it the same or you loose out on tones and contrast and grainy?
What's the best setting on the color filters to obtain good results. Does it also differ from different color head enlargers? Example Durst and Meopta color heads?

Hi Moon,
why don't you try and see for yourself, see if's works for you, I did printing on fuji's NPC160 before... well, firstly... it takes a bit longer exposure time compare to the B/W negs, you got to really take your time on the grain focusing part. But overall.. to me, I guess it kinda work. Tones was okay and contrast... okay also lah. Oh, focusing on ilford XP2 was hell... haha..
Go try it!

Had try out. fujicolor ASA 200 negative onto B/W Ilford pearl. Printing time longer. Tones are weak, majority grey tones. And it;s quite grainy

.....So, let's just stick to real b/w films then

Hello Moon, how is it? have you been printing colour negs? :)

Yes, but like i said. You can see the difference in tones. Need some skills get the nice tones of true B/W. Nevertheless, it still can print.
From color neg 200 iso is ok. But 400iso is going to get very grainy.
