Hi

i plan to buy some accessories.... but think would be better to ask around b4 spending..

PDA protector for LCD protection.
A blower to cleaning lense
Lense tissue (?) for cleaning also..

how much for each of those items cost ?
expensive?? cause my digicam is not expensive stuff.. but yet really cost me a fortune ( poor student sigh )..:(

Hi,

1. PDA protector for LCD protection will cost around $2 a piece. A PDA shop near bugis.
2. A good blower (swiss made for watches) to cleaning lens will cost around $15/- [John 3:16] It's worth the price!
3. Lens tissue (?) for cleaning, don't get the kodak lens tissue, will leave behind the fibers. Get those oil blotter that ladies use to remove oil on their faces! Watson sells them around $3-5 for a pack! Make sure the blotter is not powdered!

pda shop near bugis?
where at?

what's the blower for huh ?? is it batt operated?? is it small and portable ??

the blower is a hand squeeze type i think.

For PDA covers, CP sells them at 3 for $5pack.

Didn't know that the blue blotters is more useful than the kodak lens tissue:dunno: :embrass:

blue blotters??those comestics one??:o

Haven't tried the blue one, i think it's more costly as well! Just take note that it's not powered! I'm usiong the white one, no problem so far! Doesn't scratch or leave any fiber behind! Can even reuse to wipe the oil off your nose after you have clean your lens! :) It's written on the cover that it can be use for lens as well! I bought 2 packs (100 Sheets each) from Watson for about $4-5 Try it, i'm sure you will throw away your Kodak lens tissue!

Right now I'm just using the spectacle cloth. Seems to work quite well, at least for my spectacles...never really used it for my camera except to remove the fingerprint mark my friend left on the camera lens....

Sometimes I use that cloth provided by Oakley to wipe the glasses... good for removing fingerprints... hope it won harm camera lenses ;p
