thought I chipped in regarding the lens. Just brought it along for my trip in Europe. It was excellent (actually could be a wee bit sharper) but at the price its going for...its great value. The 'D' function (ADI) also proved reliable. All shots with flash 5600HS turned out well. Used it with the Dynax 7.
nivlek, yup the 24-105 is good, light and compact. Almost 100g lighter than my old 28-105 and offers the so useful 24mm to boot. I bought two of them (one for my sister).
