Anyone knows the price difference of these two products? Can FCP be used on Vista platform? Which one is better? Can share your experiences like if any of it is "crash-prone", has more cool effects, ease of usage and so on?

All inputs are very welcomed!

FCP is a Mac exclusive software.

I'm not too sure about Premiere Pro CS4, but the main factor behind my switch from the previous versions of Premiere Pro to FCP was the fact that Premiere Pro wasn't a very stable software for me.

thanks man! heh...any crashes with FCP so far?

actually all software will crash. But just that fcp tend to be more stable.
got to decide on your platform that you want to work with .
Adobe does have production suite for mac, but most Mac user will still go with fcp studio and get after effect and photoshop

then why did you buy software that crash?

All software will crash, but FCP is more stable and less subject to crashes. (=

The normal, everyday computers avaliable to the mass market are limited and can be overloaded with overily heavy work after all..

Rarely, but we gotta remember that computer specs plays a part too.. So if you do heavy editing but use a machine with weaker specs.... well..

oh thanks guys. Agree that all software can crash under certain circumstances.
Does anyone know how much is the Premiere Pro CS4? Is it available on local shelves already?
