If you need to fit a full height lightstand into a small DSLR camera bag, you will find that there is no such product on the market. But if your light is no bigger than an Aputure Amaran, this hack will give you a 160cm stand that folds down to 30cm.
You will need:
Velbon 8dx monopod
Cambofoto mini tripod
How to:
Remove the feet of the Velbon and the ballhead of the Cambofoto.
Simply attach the monopod to the mini tripod with the male-to-male barrrel adapter that comes with the Velbon and fully extend and spread the cambofoto's leg almost flat.
