I have transferred the DV-AVI files from a SD camcorder to PC. Intend to view the video from a portable HDD connect to a Sony PS3 through USB. But as PS3 can't play DV-AVI directly, what software and format conversion will be the best to preserve the quality with minimum rendering, so that the eventual files can be played on a PS3? Got someone suggested Movie Maker in WMV. How about Vegas Movie Studio or other freeware?
