Plan to Buy - Flash Meter

Hi there, I am looking to get a flash meter for studio uses. THe oni question is which model is a good recommendation? Heard of the Sekonic 308 and also the Minolta Flashmeters. Minoltas are way more ex or so I heard...

which gives the best bang for the buck. if a particular model is more ex, i would appreciate if someone can explain why its worth the extra $$$

They are more ex because of features, build quality, reliability (I've seen so many of these things 'konked' even at the most unexpected, critical moments) and most importantly BRAND.

I believe you already have a few models of light meter in mind ... just that you're trying to understand why you want it. Sounding like Matrix liao.
