Picture thread based on specific Lens?

I have seen other forums with threads whereby members can input their pictures taken with the particular lens in a consolidated thread and feeback on the pros and cons, i find it very useful as i can see lens performance in different bodies(ie FF vs APS-C). Would this be viable in Clubsnap forums.

I think pictures samples are already all over the net and on flickr as well. There is also Photozone as well with their lens review and samples

personally i do not see the point of posting an image taken by a specific lens, which have been photoshopped, cropped, massaged and shrunken.

Thanks for the reply, but i would expect a clubsnap formal reply instead of your personal view. There are already existing sticky photo threads on specific bodies/systems with alternative lenses that you know of. By the way this is just an idea for clubsnap discussion in the spirit of continuous improvement.

yes and those are in the midst of being restructured as well.
of course discussion is what we're hoping to achieve but some pictures posted are totally POINTLESS when it comes to technical value.

we're implementing better guidelines to help members have access to proper posting criterias so other members who're looking for a real technical discussion will not have to dig thru an entire thread halfchoked with mambojumbofathermotherbaby snapshots just to find what they want.
