I am liasing on behalf of my client for an event / awards gala dinner photoshoot. The details are as follows:
Date: 7 - 10 October 2008
Time of service: full day (morning til night)
Location: Phuket, Thailand
Type of shoot:
a) from 7th - 10th October 2008, it will be the typical events photography of activities that will be happening. A selection of photographs (about 40 - 60) need to be post-processed and be submitted by midnight.
b) on 10th October 2008, there will be an awards gala dinner. Besides taking photographs of the awardees, event photography is necessary as well
Deliverables:
3 copies of CD / DVD to be submitted by 20th October 2008 with 3 sets of contact prints.
Other details:
i) Accommodation will be provided. It will be in a 5-star hotel. The photographer will be sharing a room with another person.
ii) During the period of service, the photographer will be at the client's service as and when necessary
iii) Food may be provided at times. When quoting, the photographer should assume that he / she will have to pay for his / her own food.
iv) Local transport will be provided when related to work
v) Air tickets are not to be factored in when quoting. Client has not decide if the air ticket will be paid directly from them or they will pay the photographer who will then in turn pay for the air ticket.
Selection Criteria
There will be 2 rounds of selection. I will be doing the initial round of shortlisting before presenting the shortlisted photographers to the client. The client will then decide if the shortlisted candidates are suitable. Selection criteria is based on the following criteria (not in any order)
a) experience in awards photography
b) quality of awards photography
c) cost
Payment Schedule
30 days from date of invoice. No downpayment will be made.
Submission
For all photographers interested, please email to tay.ling@tilt.com.sg. Please state the following:
a) years of experience in awards photography
b) at least 5 pictures (can be in low resolution) of past awards photogaphy
c) a URL / portfolio of events photography
d) cost for professional service
Shortlisted photographers may be invited for a short meet-up for both rounds of selection.
