Your shots won't be so glam at $70 dollars a day.. Thats actually less then I pay my assistants to carry the lights to any given location.
I suspect what you should be doing to sell this idea, is explaining a little bit more about the type of people who will be getting photos done. The idea would be to appeal to amateur/student photographers, who are looking for willing people to bulk up there portfolio with. Basically sell it like they're the ones getting the good deal, it's like a days worth of free models/makeup and more!
hhhaha, anyway all the amateurs and students out there, if you have 1 external light and a reflector, technically you can take indoor glamour shots! It's very easy, someone should take her/him up on the offer! Honestly it'll do your portfolio well, assuming the OP can provide us with more information, and it seems worthwhile.
It may not be top 10 fashion brand quality, but then again there would need to be a few more zeros on the per day fee for that to happen. So students it's a no stress job that'll get you a bigger CF card then the one you already own!
