Photograph lamination

Hi all, as I planned to laminate some of my photographs,
need to find out whether is there anything to look for
when enaging any photo lab to do the lamination.

Is there any difference in term of photograph lamination medium used? If so which lab offers or rather which medium is the best and how much does it cost?
