Uh... So do you mean:
You have 3 newbie models who want to have their fashion themed portfolios done up.
You want 10 photographers to each pay $150 for 3 hours per newbie model.

So I take it that the newbie models each get $500 for 3 hours of please-instruct-me-because-dunno-how-to-pose.

Uh... Don't think it works that way usually. But good luck in your get rich quick scheme anyways.

Very confusing. So who is paying for the service? If the photographer got to pay for that, the model should not be a newbie, she must know how to pose, and if the photographer got to teach her the poses, payment should be done the other way round. Shouldn't it be?

hmmm.... from the title, they need photographers... thus require our services.... thus meaning we get paid.... now looking at the main paragraph, each model will pay each photographer $150 for 3 hrs of our time and they need 10 photographers for individual artistic views.....


Last i checked, No one.... hmmm... well I sure ain't gonna pay $$$$ to teach you how to pose for sure, let alone pay $$$$ and teach and build ur portfolio...... So I'd like to give the benefit of a doubt and would think the TS is looking for Paid Photographers....

Thats the thing that 'Models' don't understand in Singapore or rather the market is spoiled by some.

Models work hard to build up their portfolio, MUA do the same. They search around to find a photographer who can show off their work. They need pictures.

I will be good to help you with your portfolio but don't expect me to pay...

I am the man behind the camera, lights, styling, posing, location scouting, art directing, DI Artist. Like a Producer. Who is going to pay for that?

There is a market for people who pays to shoot 'models' though. Good luck!

The norm practise between photographers and models.

#1, when photographers pay models to shoot them, photographers keep the photos and models keep the money, if models want to have photos, the photos will be come part of the compensation photographer offer to models.

#2, when models pay photographers to shoot them, photographers keep the money and models keep the photos, under SG law "work for hired", photographers don't own the photos.

#3, when it is TFCD, both parties get to use the photos for portfolio, but photographers own the photos since he/she is not being paid, see SG copyright law.



the LAWs in ClubSNAP,

#1, TFCD is ONE (photographer) to ONE (model), Group TFCD is illegal here.

#2, Organizing model shoot using Clubsnap as platform, regardless paid or non paying for photographers, need to sign up as photoshot Organizer with Clubsnap.

#3, Clubsnap will cramp down all photoshoot organize by non-photoshot Organizer in Clubsnap.

From the looks of it, it looks more likely that TS is organising a shoot. And at that price... I rather go with the advertiser organiser here since its cheaper. Not only that slightly more experience or more experienced then TS's model.

Newbie models only and asking for $150? That is far higher then what I am charging my clients per hour. Looks like being a model is better then a photographer these days. Anyone wants to hire me as a model? I am new too.

TS is a new model agency owner/partner (look at her other post) and she got new model wanna do photoshot at $150/model/3 hour block (model's rate for 3 hour shoot). She's looking for 10 photographer to do workshop (lower cost per photographer base on her model's rate).

Think she need to sign up as shoot org.er with CS or else Catchlights will catchher :bsmilie:

even $50 per hour for newbie models is a bit too much. Just look at how much the organisers here is charging.
