I took delivery of this product last week from the US. Looks and feel better all round to the first version which I also own.
However, I am disappointed to say that this new product comes with a flaw. The black screw lock that is suppose to work as a security feature in case the red button got pushed -- does not work. Unlike the version one of this capture pro, which worked well because it was a simple screw lock. This time round it is a piece of flat metal that does not provide enough friction to keep the tripod plate in place in case of an accidental ejection of the camera. This is surprising considering how well the original one worked.
If the makers or the local suppliers read this feedback and have a solution, please let me know. I supported the brand through kickstarter and I am quite diappointed right now.
