GO canti A put 6 one dollar coins,
seat in booth, prepare 4 poses and wait for the flash
wait for about 5 min for your photos
after u got your photos proceed to the printing shop in the lib. and borrow scissors to cut into the photo.
if she has a decent quality digicam, best if can mount an external flash, the cheapest way is to DIY.
I took this with ceiling bounce and bounce card for my sister. Reasonably good lighting with minimum shadows, except for those under her chin (regretfully). Printed it out on photo paper at 1440 dpi, as good as what you get ourside. One piece of A4 full of passport size photos cost about $3.50 to print (photo paper + ink), and it can contain about 35 photos. That comes up to only 10c per photo. Compared to $6 for 4 photos = $1.25 per photo! I have become my family and friends' passport photographer since I started this off.
Just a suggestion though. If you don't want the hassle, then just go for the $6 for 4 option which is much faster and cleaner.
Do photo processing shops print up to A4 size for you? If so how much for the digital prints? Thinking of putting all my passport size pics onto one page then sending it for print.
